The journey back this time around took us about 2 and a half hours to arrive at destination as it was pouring on the highway. By the time we arrived, it was dinner time already.
The next morning we slept in a little before heading out for lunch. headed over to this place called Sun Yeong Wai for Duck Rice & Roast Pork (Siu Yuk) since the fiance was craving for Roast Pork for quite some time already.

I still prefer the Roast Duck at Sunrise Restaurant, SeaPark but overall it's still yummy. I must say this is one of the BEST Roast Pork that I've ever tasted in my life so far omg! crispy skin with juicy meat! yums!!!
After that, the both of us headed over to the new Aeon Mall at Klebang. Which the both of us regretted after being stuck in the jam for an hour and there were just too many people in the mall. So we ended up heading back to Ipoh Old Town for some coffee. We wanted to go back to Missing Marbles but the place was closed. :/ So we ended up trying Patisserie Boutique Cafe instead. It was not too bad but nothing special.
After that, we headed back home for some home cooked dins!
On Sunday, we got up pretty early and headed over to Menglembu area for some delicious Pan Mee before accompanying both is brother and other half to have a look at their new place plus home furniture hunting
After checking through the house and furniture hunting, we had lunch at this place called Salim. We were too hungry that I totally forgotten to take and pictures of the place. Their curry fish head was good but the cuttlefish wasn't as fresh. Overall, the food was good but very overpriced. meh :/

Truth is, I'm not a big fan of Pan Mee but I finished up this whole bowl! the texture of the noodle is quite smooth and the soup was quite addictive. so if you're a Pan Mee fan, maybe you should give it a shot!

After dinner we headed back to KL. with the rain & jam again, the journey back was 3 hours long. i can't wait to head back to Penang in two weeks time! We wont have much time for food hunt as well since the main purpose is to go back for Granny's birthday dinner. I just can't wait for our next food hunt!
