A year ago, he asked if I would be his other half and obviously the answer was a YES. During the first couple of weeks, we didn't exactly had the time of our lives. Instead, he had to go through quite an emotional roller coaster ride but I'm glad he held on.
So...we had a day out to celebrate! Well, a simple yet awesome day out..
Started off with his favourite food for lunch at this new Banana Leaf Rice place near my place and then we had coffee before Double 0-7 and of course, lotsa walking around the mall!
and for dinner, we had my all-time favourite Japanese cuisine. :D
And so I'd say, LOVE isn't defined by how long you've been together or how the both of you met. It is through the hardship that you are willing to face together, the sacrifices and choices made together. Fate happens when you've met the right person at the right time.
Happiness on the other hand isn't defined by lavish gifts or fine dine. It is the time spent with the right person doing the things you both enjoy.
Despite disagreements, arguments and emotional days (of course with lotsa happy days!), with a blink of an eye, a year has passed and we're standing strong. Thank you hubby, for being there for me through everything! I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together! To more festive, birthdays and anniversaries!
