“Behold! The famous Salted-Egg Yolk Croissant Donut!”
We wanted to try this place out because the hubby loves salted egg yolks (not for me) for quite some time, but the queue was always long. So, we've finally queued to try it out and it didn't take too long for us to get in.
I had my usual Cappuccino while hubby had Ice Latte. Coffee is pretty good for both our likings. For food, we had the Big Breakfast and Salted-Egg Croissant Donut. I must say that they're pretty generous with their portions. To be honest, the Salted-Egg Croissant Donut wasn't too bad, but it was a little too sweet for my liking and... I couldn't really taste the original taste of salted egg yolk. But I suppose it really is about personal preference.
So many places seem to have the Salted Egg Yolk craze. Have yet to try this from Dotty's but it sure looks good :)

Yeah. Ever since the first Salted Egg Yolk pastry...Dotty's is a little too sweet for my liking although I'm a sweet tooth. Would be better if the pastry was lighter and crsiper. :D
